Dear Parents, Alumni and Students,
I hope this letter finds you well.
It has been a blessing for me to work at Overbrook Academy these past three years. I have been grateful for the trust placed in me in the beautiful mission of accompanying our students as they grow spiritually and humanly. This year was no different. Through all the challenges the year brought, at the end we once again thanked God for another generation that was able to experience him, build strong friendships, and have many cultural experiences that will help them in the future.
As you know, an important element of our lives as women consecrated to God in the Regnum Christi Movement is a totally availability to serve wherever the Regnum Christi Movement and Church need us. For that reason, I have received a new assignment. As of this summer I will no longer be the director of Overbrook Academy. I will be moving on to another mission. While I am sad to leave, I am happy to continue dedicating my time and energy to whatever new mission God will entrust to me.
I am happy to inform you that Miss Cristina Villaseñor will take over as director of the academy. Many of you already know her because for these past two years she has served as the formation director of Overbrook, and she has been living and working in the academy since 2011. We have worked closely together these two years, so I am confident it will be a smooth transition and that she will do a wonderful job leading the academy and continuing the formative tradition that characterizes Overbrook.
In closing, I want to express my gratitude to the instructors of formation, administrative and teaching staff. Their untiring work and love for the students is what makes Overbrook so special for all of us. May God bless you for trust and closeness.
I will keep you all in my prayers as I begin my new mission. I ask you in return for your prayers so that I can generously respond to whatever God asks of me.
